FAQ – Travel Photography Service
Everything You Need to Know About Your Travel Photography Experience in Italy (and Beyond)
Welcome to the travel photography FAQ section.
Here you’ll find clear answers to the most common questions about how we work, what we offer, how to book, and everything you need to know about how a personalized travel photography service works.
Whether you’re visiting Rome, Venice, the Amalfi Coast or beyond — we’re here to guide you every step of the way.
I mainly work in Italy, with a special focus on Lombardy, Sicily, and iconic destinations like Venice, Rome, Florence, Palermo, and Lake Como. However, I’m available to travel abroad as well. Whether your journey takes you through the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, or far beyond, I can join you to capture your story wherever inspiration leads.
My work focuses on storytelling — not just beautiful landscapes. Each image blends your personality with the atmosphere of the places you visit, transforming your trip into a personal narrative rather than a collection of posed photos.
Not at all. I work with solo travelers, couples, families, and even small groups of friends. The goal is always the same — to create authentic, emotional storytelling through travel photography.
It depends on your itinerary and goals. Most sessions last from 2 to 4 hours, but full-day or multi-day storytelling experiences are also available for travelers who want a complete narrative.
Absolutely. My approach is flexible and well-suited for couples, solo travelers, families with children, or groups of friends. Every story is different, and I tailor the tone and style to reflect your unique experience.
As early as possible—especially during high season or for popular destinations.
I work with a limited number of clients each month to ensure high quality. Ideally, 6–8 weeks before your departure. This allows me to plan logistics, research locations, and offer you the most personalized experience possible.
However, I also accept last-minute bookings depending on my availability.
Every weather condition offers creative possibilities. Still, if conditions are really poor, we’ll try to reschedule the shoot to another time during your trip, when feasible. Flexibility and adaptation are key parts of my approach.
Absolutely. You can let me know which places you’d like to include based on your travel itinerary, or we can decide together based on light, timing, and the mood you’d like to capture.
A 30% deposit is required upon booking, with the balance due on or before the day of the shoot. Payment can be made via bank transfer or PayPal.
You’ll receive your curated gallery within 2 to 3 weeks. Each image is carefully edited to preserve the light, color, and emotional tone of your journey.
If you cancel the service within 14 days of booking, the deposit will be fully refunded. If you cancel after 14 days from booking but more than 15 days before the service, your deposit can be reused for a rescheduled date (within 6 months). For later cancellations the deposit is non-refundable. In any case, any documented expenses I’ve already incurred for travel and logistics will not be refunded.
Absolutely. Once I understand the kind of story you want to tell, I’ll suggest locations that reflect it — from iconic landmarks to intimate, lesser-known settings that feel more personal.
It depends on the type of shoot. I generally encourage the subject to express themselves naturally, and I capture the meaningful moments as they unfold. However, in certain sessions—such as elopements or when the aim is a fine art image—my direction becomes essential. In these cases, pose, framing, and lighting must be carefully and intentionally crafted..
Wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident. Natural tones and textures usually work best with travel photography, especially when blending with the surrounding landscapes or architecture.
The number of photos depends on the length and format of the service. A full-day shoot usually includes between 60 and 120 professionally edited images. You’ll receive them via a private, password-protected online gallery in high resolution digital format, ready for download or fine art printing.
Yes, upon request. I offer refined, natural retouching that enhances the atmosphere and emotion of your images without compromising authenticity.

Yes — from short sessions ideal for quick getaways to multi-day experiences designed for immersive storytelling. Each package includes personalized consultation, shooting, and professional editing.
It all starts with a first contact—via website form or email. From there, we’ll schedule a discovery call to understand your expectations, travel itinerary, and the kind of story you want to tell. I’ll then create a custom proposal with moodboard, schedule, and clear pricing. Once confirmed, the service is booked. Visit the page Process for more information.
I work discreetly, following your pace. We can include more guided sessions (e.g., at sunrise in a scenic location) as well as spontaneous reportage-style moments. Every experience is unique, but the goal remains the same: to capture what makes your journey truly yours.
